My name is Josephine Bacon, I am an author, journalist and translator. Above all, I am a fungus fanatic. Anyone with nice photos of wild mushrooms is welcome to put them on this site, and I will try and upload as many fungus photographs as possible. In the future, I hope to offer for sale all kinds of gear featuring fungi, from mousemats to mugs to keyrings and, of course, books. My first field guide to fungi of northern Europe was published last year. I am selling it from my website and from my address for GBP15.00 or US$20.00. My next book is currently in publication, it will appear first in French and is a guide to Mushrooms of Quebec. I will post it here when it is ready. I am also due to write a book on the fungi of Northern Europe, mainly Scandinavia and Scotland. Will post the cover when I can shrink it to the right size!
